A lot of Westmead works nights. The hospital precinct is by far the largest employer in the suburb, and a shift worker needs a bedroom that goes properly dark in the middle of the day, which puts a very different demand on a shutter than security alone.
We cover Westmead throughout the 2145 postcode, from the hospital precinct and the surrounding apartment blocks out to the Wentworthville, Northmead, North Parramatta and Mays Hill boundaries. Parramatta and Merrylands West are on the same run.
Housing is split between older cottages on the established streets and a large amount of recent high density development, so we move between retrofits on hundred-year-old brickwork and modern motorised units in towers.
If the reason you have a shutter is to sleep during the day, the fix is usually in the seals rather than the shutter. Worn guide inserts, a perished bottom seal and a curtain that stops a few millimetres short will each let a surprising amount of light in. These are small, inexpensive parts and replacing them restores most of what the unit did when it was new. If you work nights and cannot be home during business hours, say so when you book and we will do what we can to find a time that suits.
