The Ponds is one of the newest suburbs we cover, with the first lots released in 2007, so nothing here is failing from old age yet. What we do see is electronics, controls and installation faults, which are the problems newer shutters have.
We cover the whole of The Ponds in the 2769 postcode, including the streets along the Second Ponds Creek corridor and out to the Schofields, Kellyville Ridge and Quakers Hill boundaries. Rouse Hill and Parklea are on the same run.
The housing is modern, mostly two storey, on compact lots with large glazed areas facing whichever way the block happened to face. Nearly every shutter here is motorised.
A good share of what we attend in The Ponds does not need a part at all. Before you book, try the manual override if the unit has one and check whether other shutters in the house respond to their remotes, because that tells us straight away whether we are looking at one motor or the whole control system. If you have shutters tied into a home automation setup, mention which system when you call.
