Russell is not really a residential suburb. It is a government and defence office precinct on the eastern side of the lake, and almost everything we are called to here is commercial. Roller doors on loading bays, security shutters over ground-floor openings, grilles across service entries. Same trade, but the units are larger and the access arrangements are stricter.
We cover the Russell precinct in the 2600 postcode and the area immediately around it, out to the Campbell and Parkes boundaries and through to the commercial pockets toward Fyshwick. Kingston and the rest of the inner south are on the same route.
Commercial shutters fail differently to domestic ones. They are heavier, they cycle far more often, and they are usually left running until something stops working rather than serviced to a schedule.
Working in Russell usually means arranging access ahead of time rather than turning up. Escorting, induction and restricted hours are all normal here, and we would rather sort that out on the phone than lose a morning at the gate. Tell us what your site requires when you book, including whether the work needs to happen outside business hours, and we will plan around it. If a shutter has failed in the open position and left an opening unsecured, say so when you call and we will treat it as urgent.
