Parts are the challenge in Kings Langley. The suburb went up largely through the 1970s and 80s, a lot of the shutters date from then or shortly after, and several of the systems fitted in that period are no longer made. Repairing what is there is often more practical than trying to source a like-for-like replacement.
We cover Kings Langley in the 2147 postcode along with Lalor Park, Seven Hills, Marayong, Blacktown, Glenwood and Quakers Hill. It is one run for us across this side of Blacktown.
The housing here is solid brick from the seventies and eighties, much of it single storey on generous blocks, with a fair number of second storey additions since. Original shutters and later retrofits sit side by side on the same streets.
When a component is no longer available, that does not automatically mean a new shutter. Depending on the system, we can often adapt a current part, repair the original, or replace one section while keeping the box and curtain you already have. What we will not do is tell you the whole unit needs replacing when it does not. If we get to a point where a repair genuinely is not viable, you will get the reason in plain terms and the choice will be yours.
