There is very little old hardware in Gungahlin. The district was built almost entirely from the 1990s onward, so nearly everything we service here is motorised, relatively recent, and failing for reasons that have nothing to do with age. That makes it an unusual part of Canberra to work in.
We cover the whole district across the 2912, 2913 and 2914 postcodes. That takes in the Gungahlin town centre, Amaroo, Bonner, Casey, Crace, Forde, Franklin, Harrison, Moncrieff, Ngunnawal, Nicholls, Palmerston and Throsby, along with the Mitchell commercial area.
The housing runs from 1990s detached homes in the older suburbs through to very recent two storey builds on narrow blocks in the newest ones. Motorised systems dominate, and so do electronic faults. The suburbs sit close together and the same handful of shutter systems appear again and again, so the parts we carry cover most of what we find.
Because the Gungahlin suburbs sit close together we can usually take several jobs in the district on the same day, which helps with getting to you sooner. If you have more than one shutter playing up, or neighbours with the same problem, say so when you call and we will book it as a single visit. If you are a builder or a property manager with several addresses across Gungahlin, the same applies and we can work through them in order.
