Elizabeth Hills was only gazetted as a suburb in late 2009, so almost every home and almost every shutter in the 2171 postcode dates from roughly the same decade. That has an odd consequence: faults tend to arrive across the suburb in waves, because the hardware is all reaching the same milestones at the same time.
We cover all of Elizabeth Hills and the neighbouring estates, including Cecil Hills, Middleton Grange, Hoxton Park, West Hoxton and Len Waters Estate. The whole of this part of the Liverpool area is inside our standard run, so a booking here fits easily into the week.
The housing is contemporary brick, mostly two storey with substantial glazing, and the shutters were nearly all motorised from new rather than converted later. That shifts where the weak points are.
A shutter that has stopped responding to the remote is one of the more common calls we get from newer suburbs, and it is often the cheapest thing on the list to fix. Before you assume the motor has failed, it is worth having the control side checked properly. We test that first, because there is no sense replacing a working motor to solve a receiver fault.
