Colebee is one of the newer suburbs in Blacktown's north west, built out largely from the late 2000s, and that shows in the work we do here. Almost nothing needs a heritage or retrofit approach. What we see instead are units approaching the end of their first decade, where the electronics start giving trouble before anything mechanical does.
We cover all of Colebee in the 2761 postcode and the estates either side of it, taking in Dean Park, Glendenning, Plumpton, Oakhurst and Marsden Park on the same run. Blacktown and the north west growth area are all inside our regular service radius.
The housing is modern two storey brick on compact lots with a lot of glazing, and most shutters here were fitted new with the house or shortly after. They tend to be motorised as standard rather than converted later.
A shutter that is only eight or ten years old is almost always worth repairing rather than replacing, and often the fault is a small electronic one rather than a worn part. We check the simple things first, so you are not paying for a new motor when a receiver or a limit reset would have done the job. Original documentation is often still around on a house this age, so dig it out if you have it.
